Today’s Trunk or Treat brought so much joy. As I reflect on the day, I can’t help but think about all the reactions, from kids and adults alike. The message on the tracts was simple, but powerful. We used an illusion with two tracts: one looked larger than the other, yet the opposite appeared bigger when flipped.

It reminded me of 1 Samuel 16:7:

“But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.’”

Maybe today something in your life feels small or insignificant. Maybe you feel unseen or underestimated. But when we flip our perspective to God’s, we see that value isn’t found in size, status, or strength—it’s found in surrender.

What a blessing it was to share around 800 tracts, have real conversations, and witness God’s faithfulness in action. He can do the impossible. Just flip your perspective and watch Him show up—every single time.
